The Journal of Mediterranean, European and African Sciences (JMEAS) is committed to preserving the integrity, independence, and credibility of scholarly publishing. 1. Editorial Independence

Advertising and promotional activities do not influence editorial decisions, peer-review processes, or the selection of content for publication.

Editorial content is evaluated exclusively on the basis of scientific quality, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance, independently of any advertising or sponsorship considerations.

2. Advertising Acceptance

JMEAS does not accept commercial advertising that may compromise the journal’s academic mission, editorial independence, or public trust.

If any form of advertising or sponsorship is considered, it must:

  • be clearly distinguishable from editorial content;

  • comply with ethical, legal, and academic standards;

  • be relevant to the scholarly and educational community;

  • not conflict with the journal’s values, scope, or integrity.

3. Separation of Advertising and Editorial Content

Any advertising or sponsorship content, if present, is clearly identified and separated from editorial material.

Advertising content is never embedded within scholarly articles, peer-review materials, or editorial decision-making processes.

4. Sponsorship and Support

Institutional support, partnerships, or sponsorships—when applicable—are disclosed transparently.

Such support does not imply endorsement of products, services, or viewpoints and does not influence editorial policies or publication decisions.

5. Prohibited Advertising

JMEAS does not permit advertising that:

  • is misleading, deceptive, or unethical;

  • conflicts with academic or scientific integrity;

  • promotes discrimination, hate, or illegal activities;

  • compromises user privacy or data protection principles.

6. Responsibility and Liability

The journal reserves the right to reject, remove, or discontinue any advertising or promotional material at its sole discretion.

The journal does not accept responsibility for claims made in advertising or sponsored content.

7. Policy Review

This Advertising Policy is reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with best practices in academic publishing, ethical standards, and legal requirements.

Any updates will be published on the journal website and will take effect upon publication.
